Vision boards are so inspirational, but they can also be deeply personal.
One of the leading questions out there in the manifesting world is, “Should I keep my vision board private?”
This is a loaded question because there are several answers, and Lovet Planners is here to cover them so you can manifest your dream life your way.
What does the answer come down to, though?
Answer: The people around you.
What’s their energy like? There’s truth to the old advice of choosing your friends and circles wisely. Brad Stulberg, the bestselling author of The Practice of Groundedness, says, “The people with whom you surround yourself have an enormous impact on your life. In many ways, they shape it. Even the simple act of observing others can affect your own motivation, and in ways far broader than physical fitness.”
In this blog post, we’ll give you the scenarios and answers to if you should (or shouldn’t) show your vision board to others.
Should I Show My Vision Board To Others?
This describes the people around you: Your friends and family often discourage you from pursuing your dreams, or they make you question your confidence.
DON’T show your vision board. Protect the energy around your goals–especially the energy within you. When you share your vision board and goals with people that discourage you from going your own way, this kills your self-esteem.
When your confidence and self-esteem are worn down, this holds you back from making moves and manifesting your vision.
This describes the people around you: You get a sense of jealousy from the people around you. They say they want to see you succeed, but you know how they are with the competition they create in their mind. It feels toxic.
DON’T show your vision board. When you share your vision and vision board with people like described, you’re at risk for getting caught up in the same toxicity. Stay away–or break from–that cycle of sharing your visions where they aren’t positively nurtured and supported.
This describes the people around you: Your friends and family champion you to the moon and back. They uplift you and don’t get in the way of your self love and dreams.
DO show your vision board. These are the people to have in your life. When you find them, lift each other up with love and support, your manifesting goals will come faster. When the people around you love and understand your choices for your future, your visions are safe with them.
There’s no risk of your confidence being worn thin to the point you can’t manifest.
“I’m not sure how I feel about showing my vision board.”
That’s a hundred percent okay if you don’t know how to feel about it. If that’s the case, don’t rush to show your vision board to others. Your confidence and love toward the visions are something to keep safe.
When you want to keep your vision boards private–or when you want to share–open up the Manifest Bundle or the Vision Board Planner. Both are vision board creation tools to help you manifest efficiently and without breaking the bank on stacks of magazines.
Here’s the difference:
- The Manifest Bundle is a 2-piece vision board kit that includes the Vision Board Book and Vision Board Graphics Book. The Vision Board Book is your board and keeper for vision boards geared towards a different area of your life (career, life, love, etc).
- The Vision Board Planner is a 12-month vision board book. Create monthly vision boards and log your daily manifestations.
