Things That Ruin Your Vision Board

Vision Boards are more than just a fun project. They're powerful visual tools for manifesting your goals and dreams. They're not just collages, they're intentional collections of photos and words that capture your deepest desires.

But what happens when your vision board feels like it's not working? it's easy to grab magazines and start cutting, but if you're not seeing results, it's time to reassess. Here are three potential reasons why you might be ruining your vision board and stalling your manifestation process:

1. Using Photos of Other People

The best vision board is one that's all about you. When you use photos of others, it can blur your vision and lead to subconscious comparisons. Instead, use photos of yourself—images that remind you of your happiest moments and sparks positive feelings. This keeps your focus on your personal journey and goals.

2. Using Words That Does Not Resonate With You

Words on your vision board need to have strong personal meaning or clearly align with your goals. Vague terms like "Peace" or "Love" can be too broad.  BE SPECIFIC: Peace in your career, love in your relationships.  If you use quotes, make them personal by removing the original speaker's name so you can fully own the words.

 3. Overloading Your Board

Henry David Thoreau said it best " Simplicity, simplicity, simplicity!" Overloading your vision board with too many elements can clutter your intentions and distract your mind. Keep it simple and focused so your goals are clear and easily visualized, allowing your subconscious to activate and work towards them.

These are just a few ways your vision board might be working against you. For more tips on manifesting, check out our blog post, ‘3 Rules of Manifesting Everyone Should Know’.
