Creating Epic Video Content on Schedule | An Interview with Ashley Bernath

Nothing gets more up close and personal than videos do. With the rise of Tiktok and influencers providing their followers a closer look into their lives on YouTube, video planning is becoming even more crucial to content creators. We’ve collaborated with a few YouTube vloggers for the YouTube Planner from Shop Lovet Agency and are thrilled to introduce you to an influencer who is leveling up her video planning process with the planner at her side. After spending some time with the planner to lock down her process, we reached out for an exclusive interview!

Meet Instagrammer + Vlogger Ashley Bernath

LOVET INSIDER: Which planners did you choose and why?

ASHLEY: I chose Youtube and Instagram planners. They provide guidance for my social media platforms since I am currently running it myself! Every bit of help counts and I knew that they would help tremendously in my developing social media career.

LOVET INSIDER: What were some pain points you were experiencing with planning content?

ASHLEY: I have always been a planner and a growing creative my entire life, however, my biggest pain point was organizing my creativity as a business. I have learned that I love business and creating content, and finding the balance is sometimes difficult to exercise.

LOVET INSIDER: What are your favorite parts of the planners you picked?

ASHLEY: My favorite part of the Youtube Planner is Video Planning for each week of the month. It is extremely helpful to control the flow of highlighted details which will keep your viewers engaged and understand your content. My favorite part of the Instagram Planner is the Hashtag Bank. Hashtags are forever evolving on Instagram, so having an accessible list of trending hashtags that will help to gain traction for your Instagram page is great to have!

LOVET INSIDER: What is your favorite quote that keeps you motivated?

ASHLEY: I know many quotes that keep me motivated, but the one that provides clarity is from Proverbs 15:22 and it says, “Plans fail for lack of counsel, but with many advisers, they succeed.” My motivation comes naturally, but the inspiration for my worldview of people, places, and things feed my motivation.

LOVET INSIDER: What advice do you have for those who hope to start a YouTube channel?

ASHLEY: My advice would be to pay attention to what you naturally do every day. What you do authentically and the talent you have can make a difference in someone else’s lifestyle. Then begin to educate yourself by researching camera equipment, planning sites, and communicate with other people who started too. In between all of the educational growth (which will never stop by the way), start to film! Filming at first is not a natural act, but your talent is, so you have to accept what is necessary to show that.

LOVET INSIDER: Anything else you'd like to share?

ASHLEY: The last thing I would like to share is not to be discouraged to ask for help and seek community who can see your future success. You are building a brand, but a brand requires a community. Serve others with your talent in the most humbling way, and you will experience many great things!

Wow! Just to touch on Ashley’s last answer: community is critical when it comes to establishing yourself online, not just for growing your audience but for receiving the support you need to keep your brand afloat. While we are an online planner source for all of your social media needs, we hope that you, too, find Shop Lovet Agency as a community point should you need that added support!
