5 Goals & Intentions To Set In 2021 (+ Free Download)

Happy New Year! The door has been shut on 2020 and good riddance, but we’re not in the clear just yet.

2020 was a huge learning curve for everyone. We were forced to be with ourselves more and knowing that there’s a widespread issue outside the comfort of your own home can do a number to your mental health. 

So what’s 2021 for us? We’re setting our intentions on self-care and overall well-being. That counts for personal growth as well through your transformation!

We invite you to set your intentions with us if not similar to the following. 

Intention #1: In the new year, we aim to be more mindful about our mental health, emotional health, and physical health. When any of those are impacted negatively, a domino effect happens and, in turn, the negative impacts then affect the other(s). Seek to be more mindful by listening to your needs (i.e. need more sleep, need more space, etc) and start by preparing a self-care plan.

Intention #2: 2019 and the years prior tried to push that “hustle culture” is the path to success, but it’s also the perfect formula for big burnout. Knowing when to pause or reschedule when things are too much is an essential part of self-care and self-love. Make sure your hustle doesn’t sink into burnout culture.

Intention #3: Progress takes priority over perfection. You are the greatest project you’re working on. We have to celebrate the milestones reached - big and small - in our personal growth. It just means we’re each one step closer to meeting the next and best versions of ourselves.

Intention #4: Gratitude seemed in short supply in 2020 and gratitude can be found in anything that sparks joy in your life. In 2021, we want to continue our theme of gratitude alongside empathy. We all could do with some of that kindness in the new year.

Intention #5: Be kinder to yourself. Nobody arrived where they are in life without some turbulence. In 2021, we’re setting our intentions to love ourselves even when we can’t stand to be alone with ourselves. “Love yourself even when you feel broken.”

  2. Save the file to Pictures folder on your Mac.
  3. Click the Apple Menu  and select System Preferences.
  4. Go to Desktop & Screensaver.
  5. In the left panel, go to Folders > Pictures.
  6. Select the downloaded image.
OR

  2. Save the file to a preferred folder.
  3. Open the folder and right click on the downloaded file.
  4. Select Set Desktop Wallpaper.

How to Set Up (PC/Windows Users):

  1. Download this file: Click Here
  2. Click the Windows icon on the bottom of the screen.
  3. Select Settings > Personalization.
  4. Click on Background.
  5. Set the dropdown to Picture and click Browse beneath the images that appear.
  6. Select the downloaded file.
