4 Positive Habits to Develop with Help from the Lovet Weekly Planner

Are you trying to break bad habits that are affecting your lifestyle? In case you missed our blog post introducing the Lovet Weekly Planner’s newly added Habit Tracker, here’s a quick recap of what it can do for you:

When you look at the Habit Tracker page, you’ll find a series of questions leading up to the actual Tracker portion of the page. You’ll notice that instead of using “bad habit” verbiage, we created a more positive approach to it.

  • My fabulous new habit:
  • Why it’s important to me:
  • How am I going to feel when I’ve reached my goal?
  • My Reward

  • Instead of…

  • My bad habit:
  • Why the bad habit is hard to break:
  • How does this habit make me feel right now?

  • Take a quick gander here for the full walkthrough of the Lovet Weekly Planner’s Habit Tracker.

While it is named the Lovet Weekly Planner, those weeks are still divided by month with blank pages - no dates prefilled - so that you can start or pause at any time (although the latter is not recommended). Each month has one Habit Tracker page for you to take on new, healthy habits to improve your lifestyle.

If you’re stumped on what habits you could start up and track using the Lovet Weekly Planner’s Habit Tracker page, we have a few ideas to get you started! So here are…

4 Positive Habits to Develop with Help from the Lovet Weekly Planner

#1: Switch Out Unhealthy Snacks with Healthy Snacks

Did you know that what you eat can affect your productivity? When you have balanced glucose (sugar) levels, you’ll be more alert which will help you be more attentive to the tasks you need to work through and slay the day.

When you complete a full month of this healthy habit, there’s no harm in awarding yourself with a full feast of comfort foods and snacks on a weekend!

#2: Block Out Social Media While You Work

It’s easy to get caught in “the loop” where you’re constantly bouncing between social media apps and checking on notifications. Luckily, there are numerous options online to help you block out social media while you’re working (for set amounts of time) when you don’t trust yourself. Check out this roundup of apps that do just that from Reviewed.com.

When you complete a full month of this healthy habit, award yourself with something fun or helpful to your process like a content creation materials shopping spree at Target!

#3: Carve Out Time Each Day For Planner Life

Don’t fall off the groove of keeping your days organized and goals on track! By setting aside at least 30 minutes each day to get your planner in shape for the weeks to come, you can increase your productivity and you can also mark off this habit in your Habit Tracker!

When you complete a full month of this healthy habit, award yourself with a weekend of nothing to reset. Everyone deserves a good break!

    #4: Drink More Water

This seems like such a simple thing to keep track of, but you know it’s true. You’re not drinking enough water. We’re guilty of it too! When you’re not properly hydrated, you affect the grey matter in your brain which in turn can impact your productivity for the worst. Get at least 8 glasses of water in your system each day!

When you complete a full month of this healthy habit, award yourself with a happy hour with your best friends or colleagues!
