I bought this product to use in collaboration with Self Love Spark, as it was recommended to use them together for added benefit. I have not used it a ton, only using it when I use Self Love Spark, but the Affirmation Guides in them combined with writing the same affirmation seven times has really made me see myself in a different light. I'm starting to appreciate the body I have, I walk differently, I even wash my hands differently, and I'm approaching my physical health in a way that is tied to my improving mental and emotional health states. I really am beginning to love my body for the gift it is and for the home my soul is in while I am on this planet. Writing the affirmation at first is still awkward, as this is new territory for me in terms of how I feel about myself, but by the time I write the affirmation 5 times and more, I feel myself starting to internalize it and remember it. When I start to think negatively or look at myself in a negative light, I find myself reflecting back on one of the affirmation I have encountered in the journal and instead of beating myself up internally as I usually would, I instead say to myself that I am a work in progress and I am worthy of love, I love my body, my body does so much for me and allows me to interact with the world and helps me to do my daily activities. And I'm only a few sessions into using it over the course of a few weeks. I'm looking forward to continue using it in conjunction with Self Love Spark and my in-person counseling sessions to see where my self-discovery journey and journey to better mental wellness takes me.

I purchased this for my best friend for Mothers Day. We have both been struggling a little with Body Positivity and it has been a struggle for us because we live in different towns that we can only rely on phone calls and messages. I left work 2 months ago to go on FMLA because of depression. These journals have helped ne heal, in ways I never imagined. I recommend these journals to anyone at any level of life, because they saved mine. Also, when I went back to my check-up, I showed my doctor that helping me "heal," started from me journaling, manifesting, and loving me.
